Rain Resmeldt Uusen — more than 25 years inside marketing, communication, media and digital development

I haven’t built my career around a single marketing channel. I have worked in journalism, communication for major brands, B2B marketing, employer marketing, e-commerce, the public sector and international programmes — from Postimees and Telia to CV.ee, Barbora, Creditinfo, GoWorkaBit and Visionest.

I don’t just bring campaign ideas to a leader’s or marketer’s table. I look at the message, the customer, sales, content, channels, the customer journey and who will actually do the work — all at once.

Expert profile

How can I help?

Rain Resmeldt Uusen is an independent marketing and communication partner who helps business leaders and existing marketers set priorities, strengthen messaging and deliver important projects. I combine marketing leadership experience, a journalist’s and editor’s perspective, and practical AI-assisted digital solution development. My work covers marketing strategy and positioning, content marketing and communication, market launches, and marketing workflow development.

I also use the name Rain Resmeldt professionally; in earlier articles and interviews I appear as Rain Uusen.

Resmeldt Studio is home to Human Clarity OS — a framework and guided service for clear decisions, shared understanding and practical solutions. The Studio also offers courses and mentoring. Turundustiim is the Estonian-language service brand of the same practice.

Value

What does this experience give your company?

Job titles alone don’t solve any marketing problem. What matters more is what I have learned to do through those roles.

  • Leadership and ownership

I have been both the person responsible for marketing and the person doing the work. I can decide, prioritise and, when needed, roll up my sleeves.

  • Media from both sides

I have been a journalist, editor, editor-in-chief, company spokesperson and head of marketing. I know how a story is made and why some communication never works in the media.

  • Brand and market launch

I have worked on Telia’s rebranding communication, CV.ee’s brand development and Barbora’s market launch in Estonia.

  • B2B + B2C + marketplace

My experience ranges from telecoms, data services and e-commerce to a workforce marketplace, the public sector and international development programmes.

  • From message to system

My strength doesn’t end with advertising or content. I also work with customer journeys, web environments, information architecture and work processes.

  • Out-of-the-box solutions

When the usual marketing approach doesn’t work or the budget is small, I look for a solution from another direction: content, media relations, partnership, format or process.

Start with one specific piece of work — if needed, it grows into a bigger collaboration.

One campaign, one text or one website update is not too small. Good collaboration often starts right there: you see how I and the team work, and then decide whether you want something bigger.

My value comes through when the question is bigger: what to do, who to talk to, what to change, who will do it and how marketing ultimately supports the company’s goals.
